Wire Cutting

HOW CONCRETE WIRE SAWING WORKS?

Cutting concrete with diamond wire is the most advanced method in today’s concrete cutting systems. This method is commonly used for cutting concrete with a thickness of 70 cm or more that cannot be cut with hydraulic wall saws. It is preferred in the general or local demolition of heavy construction works such as bridges, tunnels, dams, etc.

HOW TO DO?

The working principle of the system is a special cutting method applied using diamond wires in structural systems. With this method, the cutting surface becomes smooth and straight in the desired axis. Powered by a hydraulic unit, the system consists of mounting the apparatus and cutting with a support of diamond cutters that rotate around the concrete mass on a wire (rope).

The wire sawing technique is based on the controlled and unlimited pushing force of hydraulic oil pressure. This technology, which uses diamond wires to increase cutting depth to unlimited levels, performs the operation through the friction caused by wire sawing.

Contrary to what is presented, diamond wire cutting is also a solution for cutting reinforcement bars and steel consultations in concrete structures that are closed with excavation, soil or concrete blocks. Diamond wire cutting is one of the best operations of new technology, and it is the only system that can reach high cutting depths. One of its most important advantages is that it is quiet and fast.

The system can also work underwater. It can be used for specific, continuous, and general foundations, concrete masses for tower crane anchoring, controlled demolition of buildings, rubble building demolitions, large parapets, door/window/shaft/elevator openings, and high dimension parapets for solution-focused operations.
